Christian Education at The Church in Aurora

Christian Education programs at The Church in Aurora serve to teach, affirm and inspire the teachings of Christian faith, including lessons from the Bible and the life of Jesus Christ. We offer programs for all phases of lifelong learning, starting at birth and throughout childhood, as well as bible study programs created for the needs of active adults. We welcome you to learn more about our educational offerings:

Early Childhood

We provide gentle, loving care for infants and toddlers. Our nursery is staffed with both a nursery supervisor and volunteers from our congregation, so you can trust your little ones are in safe, caring arms.

Our Preschool and Kindergarten classes (age 2 through Kindergarten) are dedicated to instructing our youngest friends about the bible in an effective, yet gentle manner. Our dedicated staff of teachers has many years of experience teaching about Jesus in a way that is fun, activity engaging and age-appropriate.

Promiseland is a multi-dimensional approach to learning for our 1st through 4th graders. This rotation-based program uses multiple learning styles to teach the Bible in workshops such as drama and puppets, movement games, art and cooking. Murals adorn the walls in all of these classrooms to create an incredible, experiential learning environment.

Middle School

Our Middle School programs are split into two classes by grade. These classes are designed to expand your child’s understanding of the Bible through discussion, while building a strong relationship with Jesus.

High School

Our High School Class (9th-12th grade) has a conversation-style format designed to lead teenagers towards a deeper relationship with Christ. The topics are very relatable to them…where they are right now in their lives, opening the discussion around the influences and pressures they face daily.

We offer a variety of Adult Bible Study classes, which meet on Sunday mornings, as well as weekday mornings and evenings. Class participants determine the courses of study and all are invited to attend.
