2018 WORKCAMP Calendar of Events

All meetings, fundraising events and volunteer opportunities include Adult Leaders, Workcampers and Parents!

September 14-16 – “Busy Bee” Scrapbooking Retreat – TCIA (Bowen)

Sunday, September 24 – 5-6 PM NEWBIE Meeting- Fellowship Hall

**Saturdays, September 16 & 23 – 9-12 for Women’s Guild – RUMMAGE SALE Express Drop-off AND ** Thursday, September 28 – 3-3:30 help move boxes to curb 30 minutes (rain or shine) – F. Hall *Adults and Youth*

Sunday, October 22 – MEETING – turn in $110 registration fee to reserve your spot (or $55 now and $55 by March 18, 2018) Check-writing instructions: cash or check made out to TCIA and place in mailbox #41, mail to church or give to the Eavensons.

Sunday, November 19 –  MEETING – 5- 5:30 PM; adults and non-youth group attendees set-up Toddy’s Christmas Shoppe 5:30-7 PM – F. Hall

**Sunday, December 3 – 10:30-1:30 PM – “Hanging of the Greens” family event – lunch included! Dress appropriately for indoor and outdoor decorating!

** Sunday, January 7, 2018 – noon – families take down and store church Christmas decorations

Sunday, January 8 – 5-6 PM MEETING – F. Hall – Plan Superbowl Sub-sandwich and Bake Sale Sunday. Sign-ups to take SUB orders Jan. 14, 21 and 28 (9:30 service only – annual meeting @ 11 AM) in F. Hall & Great Hall; also sell to friends and relatives! – (Belofsky/Bliss)

$$ Sunday, February 4 – 7:30-9:30 AM make subs, set up BAKE SALE (parents and youth) – Kitchen & F. H. (Belofsky/Bliss) [Please bring 3 baked goods – plated and/or wrapped – per Workcamper/Adult Leader] (Esposito)

$$ February “Busy Bee” SCRAPBOOKING/CRAFTING event – F. Hall/Kitchen – Thursday, February 8 – Saturday, February 10 (Bowen)

$$ Sunday, February 11 – Sell Valentine’s Day chocolates (donated by Circle 3-H) after both services – F. Hall   *Collect money, smile and thank everyone! (Taylor)

Sunday, March 18 – YOUTH SUNDAY (both services)– Participate or support your peers! (Special Envelope Donations are designated for Workcamp!)

Sunday, March 18 – 5-6 PM MEETING – F. Hall – Last payment date; final $55 due to TCIA! Dinner/Silent Auction overview (Holman/Rogge) Group on-line sign-up instructions, tools and clothing, etc. lists handed out; tee-shirt contest begins! (Frank/Williamson)

$$Sunday, May 6 – DINNER/SILENT AUCTION @O.L.P.H. 12 – 7:30 PM (EVERYONE + PARENTS) – T-shirt designs due! (On-line sign-up Holman/Rogge)

Sunday, May 20 Workcamp MEETING – 5 PM – F.H. FINAL MEETING (if needed)!

Sunday, June 17 – COMMISSIONING (9:30 – pick up t-shirts) 10 AM church service @ TCIA (Everyone + Families invited to attend) – receive and wear new Workcamp t-shirts and NO JEANS, SHORT SKIRTS or SHORT SHORTS!

Saturday, June 23 – (8:30-9:30 AM) All OHIO attendees bring luggage, 3 canned goods & INSURANCE CARD COPY to ESCAPE; 8:30 AM – ADULT DRIVERS pick-up MINI-VANS in Solon (meet at Escape)

Sunday, June 24 – 8:30 AM – Saturday, June 30 – HAMILTON, OH WORKCAMP (return approx. 1 PM)!

Saturday, July 7 – (8:30-9:30 AM) All NEW YORK attendees bring luggage, 3 canned goods & INSURANCE CARD COPY to ESCAPE; 8:30 AM – ADULT DRIVERS pick-up MINI-VANS in Solon (meet at Escape)

Sunday, July 8 – 7:30 AM – Saturday, July 14 OWEGO, NY WORKCAMP (return approx. 1 PM)!

Sunday, July 15 – TESTIMONIALS (Meet @9:15 AM in TCIA CHOIR ROOM to rehearse) Sit together in choir loft! Families invited to attend! Wear WORKCAMP T-shirt and NO JEANS! 3 speakers needed from each Workcamp.
